 Admittedly, I didn't have a reference, but I was drawing Kirby for the heck of it and decided, "Hey, I should really draw that Solid Snake Kirby about now," and just went with it. Besides having a giant right foot, the only flaws are probably the most important parts-- his hair, facial and otherwise. Well, actually his lower body is worse than I thought... and his arms are kind of fat... but other than that he's fine! >.> <.< ...right?
